You may think that I’m going nuts or something, as this blog should contain news about audio related software, hardware, etc. Well, yeah, I know I may be going off-course a little, but hey, Macs are Industry-Standard (or so they say!) for music production.
With all the hype around the new version of Apple’s OS, I know most of you (like me!) can’t wait to upgrade. I’ve been doing some research, and before you put your installation-disk at work, you need to make sure you have “what it takes” to run Lion.
Here’s the deal. I’m not much of a Apple guy. I could’ve write a walk-through, checklist, tutorial, whatever, but it would probably suck. Instead I’m going to point you to the Gigaom Apple Blog where you’ll find a complete checklist to make sure you’re fully prepared for the upgrade.
The checklist is available HERE. Follow what it says, and you should be fine.
If you’ve already upgraded, or plan on doing so, please post a comment and let us know how this turns (turned) out for you.
