Studio Tour: A-Trak – Scion Music(less) Music Conference

If you’ve loved my other post about other people’s studios, you’re gonna love this one too.
Scion Radio is visiting A-Trak’s studio, and they’ve got it all on tape, so you guys at home can see it.

The champion turntablist and producer shows off some juicy bits of gear, inclu’ding an MFB drum machine, a Moogerfooger looping pedal, and a harmonica he admits to not having used. He goes into further detail regarding his computer setup, including a shout-out for his Apogee Duet soundcard and a quick overview of his Serato setup.

I like this guy… I like the way he’s dressed, and I like the way his studio is arranged.  This proves once again that you don’t really need loads of outboard gear and kilometers of old “analog” cables to create some good music.

Well, a good soundcard (drooling @ A-Trak’s Apogee) and a decent MIDI keyboard are always welcome :)
