FL Studio Goes Mobile

FL Studio Goes Mobile

Image-Line are taking their flagship software one step further. They’re cranckin’ it up a notch. A few notches actually, because as the title says, FL Studio will now also work on mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads & iPods.

They say this will allow you to create complete multi-track projects and, if you want, you could also load those mobile projects into FL Studio on your computer and take them to the next level.

“If it’s a beat on the Stepsequencer, a melody on the Piano roll or a full song on the Playlist, FL Studio Mobile has you covered.”

There’s not much things I can say about this App, as it’s not available at the moment, but I can say this: It looks great! Let’s hope it does what it’s supposed to.

Keep reading the blog, I’ll keep you updated on this one! PS: More images are available here. (image-line.com)

I’ve always thought of FL Studio as software with some amazing potential if used by the right people, but to be honest, I’m not really a fan… I don’t like the layout, and I need to click to much in order to achieve something :)

That being said, I’m glad you found the article interesting, and I’d like to thank you for sharing your opinion with us. Maybe you could keep me posted on how it works, as I don’t own an iPhone (anymore).

So, thanks for commenting, and stay tuned, as soon as I get any news on this, I’ll keep you updated.

    Andrei,

I understand your point. FL Studio has a bit different approach for making music than the “usuals” such as Cubase and Logic, but once you get a hang of the workflow it’s very powerful. Especially for electronic music.

Of course I’m saying this as a FL fanboy point of view lol, but still.. :)

Anyway, will keep you updated once I get the mobile version under test!

I guess you’re right about this. Everyone should choose what works best for them.

I’ve always thought about FL Studio as a big and more complex drum machine, haha.

And I do think it’s great for programming drums :)
