ULoops Music Studio – DAW environment for Android

ULoops Music Studio

First thought… it looks amazing! I’m blown away by this little app. Now let me wipe my mouth and tell you guys more about it.

ULoops Labs is a small company founded by two guys: Juan Bordón (juan) and Sebastián Marconi (k7k0).  Now for the software itself…

Uloops Music Studio is a complete composition environment for android devices, and is based on 3 concepts: Song, Loop and Devices (including Synthesizers, Drum Machines, Modulators and Recorders).

With its 12 channel loop oriented sequencer Uloops lets you to mix up to 4-bar length recordings, synths, drums and modulators. The included polyphonic synthesizer has 109 instruments available with 6 different scales and a 7-octave piano roll helps you to enter notes.

You can see notes, LFO and filter envelopes (filter & res) in a single view.

The drum machine is packed with 35 drumkits, and each drumkit is offering 17 components, including bass drum, snare, hi-hat, crash, tom, among others. You can also apply effects to any sound you may have running, or record your own sounds with the built-in recorder.

You can also publish your songs in their online community.
