polychord For iPad – Chord Progressions On The Fly

polychord for iPad

Should Woulda Coulda is a new software company and has two partners – Gregory Wieber, a visual artist and code expert, and music producer/engineer Hugo Nicolson who has worked with Radiohead, Primal Scream, and on movie soundtracks such as the Ocean’s 11 trilogy with DJ Composer David Holmes.

Having worked in the music business for 25 years, Hugo was frustrated by the fact that he still could not play a note, suggested to Greg over coffee one day, that they try make an instrument he might actually be able to play. This is how polychord was created.

What Is polychord?

polychord is an iPad instrument that can help either novice/bedroom composers and professionals play in minutes. You can write songs or play along to your favorite tunes. You can use up to 10 fingers at once on the polychord to create chord progressions, melodies and harmonies, and there are lots of beats to choose from.

Feeling retro? Turn on bitshift to give polychord that 8bit sound.
