Mixed In Key DJ Contest – Win Amazing Prizes

Yeah, it’s not a remix competition, as in the previous posts, it’s a DJ contest.

Launched by Mixed In Key, the creators of Harmonic Mixing software, this contest gives you the chance to inspire the listeners with your mix, and impress the judges to win some amazing prizes! Details on how to enter the competition are below. Good luck!

What you need to do

  • Make a 10-15 minutes long 100% harmonic mix, showcasing your favorite dance music songs.
  • All songs must belog to the same genre (DON’T use a Hip-Hop acapella on a minimal track).
  • Showcase innovation in Harmonic Mixing.
  • Build up some complex transitions, breakdowns and build-ups.
  • BE ORIGINAL!

The Rules

  • Your mix should not be longer than 15 minutes, or shorter than 10.
  • Only one dance music genre allowed in the entire mix (Pick one, and stick with it!)
  • The mix should be 100% harmonic. (This is a must!)
  • Only one entry allowed per DJ
  • Anyone can join. No purchase what-so-ever required.

The Prizes

First place get’s the follwing:

  • Event Opal 750W Active Monitor speakers featuring Variable Impedance Flared Ports to eliminate artifacts and noise, a new ULD tweeter design, and 8-inch EX8 Drivers for solid bass.
